When time meets Geneva — the world’s capital of watchmaking — it carries more than history and heritage. It reflects a long-standing commitment to precision craftsmanship and sustained excellence.
On February 27, WINNOTIME hosted a private gathering in Geneva.
Modest in scale, yet substantial in substance.
The atmosphere was calm, but the discussions were meaningful.
This was not a conventional presentation. It was a conversation — a moment to align perspectives and explore shared direction.
The program opened with two short films, Shenzhen in Depth and 2026 APEC Shenzhen, introducing the city’s global profile and future vision. The audience responded with spontaneous applause, a gesture of genuine recognition for Shenzhen’s remarkable journey and growing international presence.

现场到来的嘉宾中,既有国际品牌核心管理层,也有集团层面的重要决策者,品牌负责人、独立制表大师、媒体与行业组织的代表。
Among the guests in attendance were senior executives from international brands, key decision-makers at group level, brand founders, independent master watchmakers, as well as representatives from the media and industry associations.

The discussions were focused and candid, with a high level of engagement throughout.
Participants showed strong interest in the structure of the Chinese consumer market and Shenzhen’s manufacturing capabilities. Questions were raised about how China Watch Week & WINNOTIME aims to bridge traditional mechanical watchmaking with wearable innovation. Others offered concrete suggestions regarding the 2026 platform framework and models for international collaboration.
What began with curiosity and careful inquiry gradually evolved into detailed conversations. As ideas became more specific, the energy in the room noticeably intensified.

During the reception that followed, conversations continued to deepen, with additional guests joining after traveling from afar.
Several companies engaged in detailed discussions on the exhibition layout of China Watch Week & WINNOTIME, potential formats for brand participation, and strategies for entering and expanding within the Asian market.
Before leaving, a number of guests proactively exchanged contact information with the WINNOTIME team and agreed to continue discussions in the near future. Many expressed a strong interest in learning more about the platform’s development plans and maintaining ongoing dialogue.
For us, this kind of organic continuation — driven by genuine interest — carries far more weight than any formal statement could.

在现场发言中,深圳市钟表行业协会会长、China Watch Week & WINNOTIME筹委会主席朱舜华表示:
瑞士连续二十年位列全球创新排名第一,日内瓦是世界手表之都;
而深圳,是中国的创新之城,也是中国钟表之都。
It is within this watchmaking context that the dialogue took on particular significance.
Geneva stands as a spiritual center of haute horlogerie. From traditional ateliers to the headquarters of contemporary brands, the city has witnessed countless milestones in the history of timekeeping.
In his address, Mr. Zhu Shunhua, President of the Shenzhen Watch & Clock Association and Chairman of China Watch Week & WINNOTIME, noted that Switzerland has ranked first globally in innovation for twenty consecutive years, and Geneva is widely regarded as the world’s watchmaking capital. Shenzhen, he added, is China’s city of innovation — and the capital of China’s watch industry.

他强调,此行来到瑞士和欧盟主要国家,一方面是受深圳市政府委托,向欧洲同行系统介绍深圳这座年轻而充满活力的城市,介绍将要在深圳举办APEC2026;另一方面,则希望借由深圳手表周的平台,与瑞士同行探讨中瑞钟表产业更深层次的协作空间。
从大年初三启程前往慕尼黑参加 INHORGENTA,与法国钟表协会、德国珠宝钟表银器工业联合会(BVSU)及近百家品牌交流;再到随后穿梭瑞士多个城市,与瑞士钟表协会(FH)、瑞士高级制表基金会(FHH)、各个曾经参展品牌、独立制表人面对面探讨——这一连串密集行程,充分展示诚意、创新与行动力。
在发言中,朱会长提出一个关键判断:
深圳,作为改革开放初期成长起来的城市,如今已发展为拥有 600 家上市公司、工业总产值连续多年位居全国前列的创新高地。这里孕育了华为、比亚迪、大疆、拓竹等代表性企业,也汇聚着中国最年轻、最具消费力的创业群体与新生代消费者。
尤其是 95 后一代,从小佩戴手表成长,对时间产品有天然的习惯与情感连接。他们不再只关注品牌符号,而更在意设计语言、个性表达与文化认同。
这意味着,中国市场正在发生结构性的转变——
从规模驱动走向价值驱动,从功能消费走向表达消费。
当这样一股年轻而充满活力的市场力量,与拥有深厚制表传统与技术积淀的瑞士展开对话,其意义,早已超越一场活动本身。
He emphasized that the visit to Switzerland and other key EU countries served two purposes. On one hand, the delegation was entrusted by the Shenzhen Municipal Government to introduce Shenzhen — a young and dynamic city — to European counterparts, including its role as host city of APEC 2026. On the other hand, through the platform of China Watch Week, they aimed to explore deeper collaboration between the Swiss and Chinese watch industries.
Beginning on the third day of Chinese New Year, the WINNOTIME team traveled to Munich to attend INHORGENTA, engaging with the France Horlogerie, BVSU (Bundesverband Schmuck, Uhren, Silberwaren und verwandte Industrien e.V.), and nearly one hundred brands. The journey continued across multiple Swiss cities, where they met face-to-face with the Fédération de l'industrie horlogère suisse (FH), the Fondation de la Haute Horlogerie (FHH), former exhibiting brands, and independent watchmakers. This intensive itinerary demonstrated not only commitment, but also a clear spirit of innovation and action.
In his speech, Mr. Zhu offered a key perspective. Shenzhen, which emerged during the early years of China’s reform and opening-up, has grown into an innovation hub with 600 listed companies and industrial output ranking among the highest nationwide for several consecutive years. It is home to leading companies such as Huawei, BYD, DJI, and Bambu Lab, and to one of China’s youngest and most dynamic entrepreneurial communities.
In particular, the post-95 generation has grown up wearing watches. They have an instinctive familiarity with timepieces and an emotional connection to them. Today, they look beyond brand symbols. They value design language, individuality, and cultural identity.
This signals a structural shift in the Chinese market — from scale-driven growth to value-driven demand, from functional consumption to expressive consumption.
When such a young and vibrant market force enters into dialogue with Switzerland’s deep watchmaking heritage and technical mastery, the significance extends far beyond a single event.

This visit to Geneva marked a key milestone in WINNOTIME’s broader European journey.
Starting from Munich, the team traveled across Germany, Austria, France, and Switzerland, covering 16 cities and driving nearly 3,000 kilometers. In Switzerland alone, they visited more than 20 institutions, including federal government departments, industry associations, media organizations, social institutions, brand headquarters, and independent watchmakers.
The Geneva gathering became a meaningful point of convergence within this extensive itinerary.
It further strengthened our conviction that WINNOTIME is not merely a new exhibition format, but a more open and collaborative approach to industry development.
China Watch Week & WINNOTIME will leverage China’s continued openness and expanded visa policies to create greater accessibility for watchmakers and enthusiasts from different cultural backgrounds.
